WILDCARD APPLICATION
The SRS receives a large number of Wildcard requests for each event. The following policy will be applied to all registrations
- 115 places will be awarded strictly by SRS Score/ time paid.
- 5 places will be reserved for partner requests/SRS Org.
- 10 places will remain for Wildcard requests, although we would raraely award this many.
Reasons to award a Wildcard
- A pilot returning after a period of absence from competing, regardless of the level they competed at.
- A pilot that can enhance the SRS in some positive manner.
- At the request of the local organisation, but subject to SRS Org approval
Wildcards will not be awarded based on WPRS. This is against the philosophy of the SRS.
Wildcards will be selected by the SRS Organisation and typically approved 30-45 days prior to the start of an event. An application for a wildcard must be made on the following form:
